History

Homes on the Hill, Community Development Corporation (HOTH-CDC) has an accomplished record of home rehabilitation and homeownership education programs.

Incorporated in 1993 to develop affordable housing in the Hilltop, Homes on the Hill is a not-for-profit organization and holds a 501(c)(3) status from the IRS.

Homes on the Hill began purchasing and rehabbing property in 1996 and has successfully developed more than 100 owner-occupied and rental housing units. Today, the organization continues to grow and increase capacity to develop new projects in the neighborhood.

HOTH-CDC also offers a HUD-approved Homeownership Education program, foreclosure prevention orientations, and individual counseling, all conducted in English and Spanish.

Additionally, HOTH-CDC has partnered with Habitat for Humanity to build more than 30 new homes.
